No, XFINITY only offers high speed.
2. Does XFINITY High-Speed Internet Service offer parental controls?
Yes, once you're online you can go to: http://xfinity.comcast.net/constantguard/ and see instructions on how to download XFINITY's free Security Manager with Parental Controls or contact technical support for assistance.
3. Does XFINITY High-Speed Internet Service offer a pop-up blocker?
Yes, once you're online you can download XFINITY's free Security Manager which also includes a spam and spy ware blocker as well as a firewall. 4. How fast is XFINITY High-Speed Internet Service?
XFINITY offers download speeds of either 6 or 8 Mbps download and up to 768k upload. Included with XFINITY High-Speed Internet is our new PowerBoost™, making a fast connection even faster. PowerBoost™ works by doubling your basic speed (yes that's 16 Mbps!!!) when you're downloading large files like music videos and games.

6. Can I buy a modem from XFINITY?
Yes, you can purchase one outright for $99.99 or if you prefer you can lease one for only $3.00 per month.
7. Can I keep my current (Yahoo, Hotmail, Google etc.) email address?
Yes you can, using XFINITY High-Speed Internet Service will not affect your existing web mail account.
8. Can I choose my own username and email address?
You will be instructed on how to create your username, email address and password during the installation process.
9. How much web space do you allow us?
25 MB of personal web space.
10. Is there a charge for XFINITY Technical Support and what are their hours?
Free technical support is available 24 hours a day by dialing 1-800-266-2278.
11. Can I network more than one computer?
Yes, upon request XFINITY will provide a home networking gateway.
12. Is a static IP address available for regular residential service?
Unfortunately, consumer accounts utilize dynamic IP addresses, if you require a static IP please contact the XFINITY Business department at 1-800-266-2278.
13. Can I get my kit any faster? I don't want to wait 5-7 days.
Yes, you may be able to pick it up at a nearby XFINITY office. Please call 1-888-823-4281 24 hours a day.
14. Will Vonage or other Voice over IP service (VoIP) work with XFINITY High-Speed Internet?
Yes, Vonage (or any other VoIP provider) will work with XFINITY High-Speed Internet Service. For more detailed information please contact your VoIP provider for technical assistance.
15. Do I need an Internet service provider like AOL in addition to the XFINITY service?
No, XFINITY is your new Internet service provider and will provide all services.
16. What happens if I move?
Please check HighSpeed.com/XFINITY/ for XFINITY High-Speed Internet availability for your new location. If XFINITY High-Speed Internet is not available you may cancel your previous service without penalty.
17. What is a NIC card?
A NIC (or "NICK") card is a network interface, or is also known as an "Ethernet Adapter" on the back panel of the computer and connects to the cable modem. Most computers sold in the last 5 years have them pre-installed.
18. What does a modem do?
A modem is a device that's needed for your computer to communicate at high speeds with the Internet.
19. What if I don't know how to do a self install or need installation assistance?
Included in your self installation kit are detailed instructions as well as a contact number for XFINITY's 24 hour technical support.
20. Do I need to have your cable television service in order to use XFINITY High-Speed Internet?
No, XFINITY High-Speed Internet service is available independently.
